Program Manager-Partnerships

I was born and raised in Worcester, MA to Vietnamese refugee parents. My family has always been hyper-focused on the nuclear family, stemming from years of generational trauma and mistrust as they navigated their new life in the United States. Despite their efforts to instill that in me, I have always been a talker, maybe to a fault at times! I’m a person who likes to ask deeper questions, build bridges, and share a laugh with a stranger.

My community work stems from my love of getting to know people and their stories. Every day, I connect with people to learn about their challenges, frustrations, hopes, and passions—all of it inspiring me.

I joined GenUnity in July 2023 after taking some time off from a corporate job to pursue social impact work. I’ve admired the work of GenUnity since 2020 and hoped that one day I would be able to work for an innovative organization tackling important issues that are near and dear to my heart.

I graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2021 with dual bachelor’s degrees in Urban Geography and Marketing. Outside of work, I love reading Vietnamese-American literature in any form, hosting dinner parties, journaling to capture a moment in time, and spending quality time with my community/village/family.
