Everyday People Advancing Health Equity Across Communities
In Boston, residents separated by two stops on the Orange Line have a life expectancy gap of 23 years. While this injustice is striking, driving change can feel overwhelming. That's why GenUnity's Health Equity Program equips people with the relationships, knowledge, and skills to advance health equity in their community.
The Journey to Equitable Health Outcomes
Our Health Equity program unites a diverse group of Bostonians, from those directly impacted by health inequities, to hospitals, health insurers, life science companies, governments, and nonprofits.
During our 10-week program, you’ll engage with fellow members and local leaders to examine our health systems — from the role of policies and money, to disparities in social services and mental health. Together, you’ll surface new ideas and build the individual and collective power to realize more equitable health outcomes.
On completing the program, you'll join our Lifetime Community of Practice as an Andrew Dreyfus Community Leadership Fellow. Here, you’ll connect with hundreds of GenUnity members across our programs and receive ongoing support to drive change in your workplace and community.
